Project Overview
The Pittsburgh Irish Festival is a major annual 3-day cultural celebration held in early September at the Carrie Blast Furnaces in Allegheny County. It features live Celtic rock and traditional music, Irish dancing, authentic Irish food like, Gaelic sports, and cultural workshops to celebrate Irish heritage. Using the elements of visual hierarchy, I created a typographic poster for the Pittsburgh Irish Festival, where I was able to treat type as a visual element rather than just informational use.
